The process

How DTF works.

We prep your file, print it to film, apply and cure adhesive powder, then heat-press it to the garment. A final press improves finish and durability.

Pros

  • Great color and fine detail for logos, gradients, and small text
  • Works on a wide range of garments, including blends
  • Consistent across mixed-size and mixed-style orders
  • Fast turnaround for small runs and reorders

Limitations

  • The print has a thin transfer-layer feel
  • Very large solid areas can feel heavier and less breathable
  • Placement is limited by press size, seams, and zippers
  • High heat and harsh wash cycles should be avoided

Best for

  • ApparelShirts, hoodies, hats, and jerseys depending on paneling
  • ArtworkFull-color logos, photo-style graphics, and short-run drops
  • OrdersSmall batches, mixed sizes, and quick reprints

Good to know

Artwork and care.

The cleaner the source file, the cleaner the print. Send what you have and we will flag any issues before production.

Files

  • Vector files preferred for logos and text: AI, EPS, or PDF
  • High-resolution transparent PNG files also work
  • Include the intended final print size

Care

  • Wash inside-out in cold or warm water
  • Tumble dry low or hang dry
  • Do not iron directly on the print
